CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

As part of a project to build 6 EPRs in India, a specialised subsidiary is closely collaborating with the local client to set up a pilot digital platform, similar to the one developed for HPC in the United Kingdom. The aim of this initiative is to facilitate the transfer of engineering data and accelerate the progress of the project in India. To achieve this, the subsidiary is relying on a structure dedicated to the production of engineering deliverables, where several partners are working together to guarantee compliance with cyber security requirements, data protection, the availability of the resources needed to set up the platform and ensure the transfer/exchange of non-sensitive data.

In this context, Assystem is in charge of establishing user application tests between the engineering platforms such as the upstream of the platform, supporting the deployment of the structure's activities by ensuring data control and validation, and securing the acquisition of the tools and licenses used.

Project Scope

  • Application testing
  • Tools and data planning
  • Implementation of roadmaps
  • Organising business points
  • Project progress meetings
  • Cybersecurity
  • Checks and analyses of export data

Results

  • Secure management of access to transferred data
  • Control of the budget/costs for the acquisition of tools/licences (savings of around €25K)
  • Guaranteed data quality via "consistency checks" carried out by Assystem teams (500 megabytes of data/week)
  • Productivity gains on the structure's activities
