From October 14th-18th October, the fourth edition of Diversity Week, an annual event imagined and orchestrated by Assystem's Switchers, was held across multiple regions. The aim of this initiative is to showcase the skills of our employees, while highlighting the need for us to work together to move the boundaries of inclusion.

We built our 2023 theme, 'Inclusion begins with you’ by implementing local actions tailored to the specific contexts of each Assystem entity. This year, we explored the notion of ALLYSHIP: how everyone can act as an ally to minorities, helping them thrive professionally, without distinction or discrimination.

Each Assystem entity, from France to India, via the UK, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, offered local initiatives tailored to their specific challenges:

  • France: Conference “Être allié(e) au quotidien - passez à l'action!
  • Saudi Arabia: “Cultural diversity in the design team: improve your performance” training course
  • United Kingdom: “Let's talk about Black History Month” conference
  • India: “Welcoming diversity, building inclusion” conference, with a skit dance performance and “diversity tree” activities in branches.
  • Türkiye: “Supporting intergenerational relations at work” conference.

More than 500 participants attended the 5 conferences and workshops, and our 'Imagine' campaign was broadcast in 66 branches and customer sites, inviting employees to reflect on any preconceptions and challenge themselves to think differently.

Beyond this DiversityWeek, Assystem's commitment to diversity continues throughout the year. Through interviews, conferences and other initiatives, we continue to raise our employees' awareness of the importance of creating a truly inclusive working environment.

This activity represents Assystem's determination to transform its ideas into concrete actions, and to offer each of its employees a space where they feel valued and respected.
