Assystem a globally renowned leader in engineering, digital, and project management services has joined World Nuclear Association to support the Association’s action for industry wide collaboration to expedite the delivery of nuclear power worldwide.
Tripling of nuclear power capacity to deliver the energy transition
As a reliable source of low-carbon, dispatchable electricity, nuclear power is an increasingly popular alternative to fossil fuels for decarbonising economies, making it a vital tool in delivering the energy transition.
Assystem is committed to supporting the nuclear industry’s readiness for the scaling of nuclear power globally. As a member of World Nuclear Association, Assystem will utilise its established network of technical working groups, events, and meetings to table conversations on aspects of project delivery that will be key to delivering nuclear power on time and safely.
Using digital to optimize the construction of nuclear power
A key area of Assystem’s focus will be on the role of digital in nuclear projects to optimize construction of nuclear projects and overall project delivery drawing on the company’s core business offering in digital for complex projects.
We are delighted to join World Nuclear Association’s network and become a committed and active member of this trusted global industry association. Tripling nuclear power capacity globally in smaller timescales will require excellent collaboration from the wider industry as we navigate key challenges such as the integration of digital, the demand for people, and the regulation of, and fast deployment of, new smaller and more dynamic nuclear technologies.
