Assystem’s gold sponsorship for the Project Controls Expo (PCE) will showcase two of the company’s expert speakers who will highlight how to leverage digital tools to save time and cost on projects.
Managing Consultant, Paula Mota, will take the stage on the 5th of November to discuss the role and importance of harnessing digital twins in civil engineering by transforming construction through data-driven innovation, following the Expo committee nominating Assystem’s paper submission on this topic.
This will be followed by PMO Director, David Eveleigh, who will share insights on the importance of digital benchmarking and draw on real examples of using this, including how Assystem's in-house tool can be used to gather benchmarking data against industry best practice to help project managers get their best return on investment.

Supercharging project delivery with the Imagine the Switch Student Competition
Assystem will also be hosting the second annual edition of the Imagine the Switch Student Competition. AI will have the power and potential to revolutionise project performance and best practice across the industry. That’s why Assystem has framed its 2024 competition around how AI systems can help drive project management efficiencies, which is all critical to accelerating the switch to low-carbon energy.
After the success of our 2023 launch, Assystem is inviting three student finalists to present their digital ideas to a panel of expert judges at the PCE on the 6th of November. The winner will receive a £2,000 cash prize, a two-week work experience placement with Assystem in 2025, as well as a guided tour of Wembley stadium after the announcement!
