Job Description

As a valves engineer, your responsibilities encompass supporting the delivery of nuclear plant equipment from external suppliers, drafting and amending technical specs, supervising contractor designs, and spearheading contract meetings. You will adeptly manage multidisciplinary technical issues, oversee technical specialists, and ensure seamless equipment integration with interfacing systems.

My profile

Our Valves Engineer will be instrumental at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, marking a return to nuclear power station development in the UK after over two decades. We are looking for an expert in creating technical specifications for valves, and a robust understanding of mechanical interfaces. Though not essential, familiarity with nuclear processing regulations, and specific contract forms like NEC/FIDIC will be advantageous, but by no means essential
