Finding solutions to climate change is the priority of the 21st century, and means switching to low-carbon energy. At Assystem, our mission is to accelerate the energy transition worldwide. And to achieve this, our 7,500 Switchers combine their historic expertise in engineering and project management with digital technologies. 


Present in 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia), we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also involved in modernising electricity grids and electrifying uses, using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.


Job Description

As a Technical Leader, you will be a key player in the digital transformation of our business and nuclear projects. Your role will involve integrating digital technologies, in particular PMIS and Oracle solutions, into our project management and innovation processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining the partnership with Oracle and ensuring that our teams’ skills are upgraded.

As part of Assystem’s Digital Excellence Centre, your tasks will be :

  • Managing the implementation of the Oracle demonstrator for R&D: defining the functional and technical architecture, installing the software and integrating it with the Group’s entities, setting up the data, planning and clarifying roles, taking part in setting up the team, carrying out activities directly, monitoring progress and reporting to the innovation programmes.
  • Integrating digital tools into innovation projects: defining use cases, technical specifications and data integration.
  • Defining business use cases: identifying and integrating project management applications, becoming a reference on Oracle tools for their handling and deployment within the group.
  • Innovation project support: definition of workpackages, use cases, Oracle project management. Monitoring of technical production and development of digital R&D demonstrators.
  • Value proposition: Create innovative digital offerings for Assystem’s emerging markets in UK and internationally.
  • Project management expertise: Mastery of project management skills and digital project management tools.
  • International collaboration: Involvement in innovation projects at Assystem in various entities. Interaction with project management experts to define use cases.

Occasional travel will be required to France and other destinations abroad.

My profile

  • Training: 5 years’ higher education (engineering school) with experience in managing Project Management Information System (PMIS) deployment, project management and the integration of digital solutions complex within regulated projects (e.g. nuclear, defence, rail or Water).
  • Database Solutions Management; You have a functional command of Oracle modules and can translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Management experience: Previous experience in team management or technical leadership.
  • Manufacturing & Design Systems: Experience or exposure to systems such as Catia, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Aveva, Tekla and or Bentley Suite
  • Personal qualities: Autonomy, works with ambiguity, proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, ability to analyse and summarise, ability to teach and effective implement change management activities.
  • Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
