Job Description

At the heart of Assystem’s Group Digital Technical Division, we are looking for a Technical Advisor in Digital Systems Engineering. This position plays a key role in leading our Digital Systems Engineering team, which is responsible for integrating innovative digital solutions. These initiatives are crucial to the digital transformation of Assystem and its customers.

 

Main tasks

  • Participating in the definition of strategy: Actively participating in the definition and management of Assystem’s Digital Systems Engineering (DSE) roadmap.
  • Innovation and R&D: Contribute to R&D activities on topics such as MBSE, coupling AI and Systems Engineering, and the product line approach. Monitor technological developments in the field of systems engineering.
  • Project Support: Providing methodological support to Assystem projects in the application of systems engineering tools and methods.
  • Referential development: Participating in the creation and implementation of the Group’s Systems Engineering referential, covering methods, processes and compliance.
  • Internal and External Promotion: Promoting SE methodologies within Assystem and internationally, including training and knowledge sharing.
  • Feedback: Capitalising on and sharing feedback to continually improve practices.

 

The position requires occasional travel to France and other locations abroad.

My profile

  • Training: 5 years’ higher education (engineering school) with experience in managing complex, regulated projects (e.g. nuclear, defence, rail or Water).
  • Technical skills in systems engineering: mastery of the principles of systems engineering (ISO 15288), requirements, interface and configuration management, and familiarity with the associated tools (PLM/Enovia, MBSE/Capella, Reqtify, etc.).
  • Management experience: Previous experience in team management or technical leadership.
  • Manufacturing & Design Systems: Experience or exposure to systems such as Catia, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Aveva, Tekla and or Bentley Suite
  • Personal qualities: Autonomy, works with ambiguity, proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, ability to analyse and summarise, ability to teach and effective implement change management activities.
  • Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
