Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will:

⚡️ Produce steelwork platform designs compliant with Eurocode3 and ETC-C.

⚡️ Liaise with building layout and piping teams to coordinate designs.

⚡️ Maintain QA procedures in delivering SW designs.

⚡️ Work with CAD designers on design drawings/models.

⚡️ Manage engineering changes per company procedures.

⚡️ Liaise with various colleagues to resolve technical issues.

⚡️ Receive, analyse, and verify the consistency of input data.

⚡️ Produce deliverables like assumption notes, technical specifications, and calculation notes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

🛠 Experience in designing seismically classified steel platforms and structures.

🛠 Proficiency in 3D modelling and structural analysis tools.

🛠 Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering.

🛠 Experience with QA procedures and engineering change management.

🛠 Strong problem-solving and technical verification skills.

Desired Skills:

✔️ Understanding of PWRs and nuclear plant layout engineering.

✔️ Knowledge of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.

✔️ Familiarity with relevant Health and Safety regulations.

✔️ Experience in the nuclear sector.

✔️ Proficiency in managing design risk registers.
