Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This role is pivotal in delivering critical equipment to a nuclear site, ensuring the success of key projects like Emergency and Ultimate Diesel Generators (EDG/UDG). You’ll work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure equipment meets stringent nuclear safety standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
⚡️ Supporting the development of high-value, complex contracts for nuclear equipment.
⚡️ Ensuring that equipment is qualified for nuclear safety and regulatory compliance.
⚡️ Overseeing supplier activities and managing technical configurations for equipment.
⚡️ Leading tender evaluations and supplier qualification processes.
⚡️ Managing contract execution, including reviewing contractor deliverables and ensuring compliance.
⚡️ Resolving technical queries and overseeing the equipment qualification process.
⚡️ Authoring technical documentation to ensure alignment with nuclear safety standards.
My profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
🛠 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
🛠 Extensive knowledge of moving mechanical equipment, such as rotating equipment (eg, turbines, valves, pumps and turbomachinery) or auxiliary systems (eg, cooling systems, fuel injection systems)
🛠 Experience in the design, analysis, and testing of safety-classified equipment used in power stations
🛠 Proven ability to produce technical specifications and manage supplier interactions.
Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience with EPR or PWR nuclear design would be advantageous.
✔️ Experience working with Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) or Ultimate Diesel Generators (UDG).
✔️ Knowledge of industry regulations, particularly RCC-E and safety standards.
✔️ Supplier management experience.
