Job Description
Your Future Team:
The Senior CS&A Engineer will represent their function and work as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary design team supporting all stages of design and providing essential assistance during the construction phase.
Your Missions:
🔗 Liaise: Connect with the intelligent client & CS&A Technical Authority.
🤝 Collaborate: Work with multi-disciplinary teams for seamless integration.
📐 Design & Docs:Create detailed designs, calculations, drawings, assessments, and verifications.
✅ Compliance:Ensure work follows Euro Codes (e.g., Eurocode 3) & CDM Regulations.
🏗️ Structural Design:Design concrete plinths for machinery/tanks.
Design pipe brackets for new/pre-existing concrete structures.
🔍 Assess & Qualify: Verify existing cast-in elements for mechanical supports.
🛠️ Manage Interfaces: Handle civil design interfaces & loads between subcontractors.
🏢 Structural Surveys:Support and interpret structural surveys.

📚 Knowledge of Euro Codes & CDM Regulations
🏗️ Experience in concrete/steel design
🏢 Structural survey expertise
🎓 Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering
📏 Experience with Eurocodes 1-3
📊 Proficient in surveying methods (e.g., rebar scanning)
⚙️ Knowledge of CDM roles/responsibilities
🏚️ Experience with aging assets
⚛️ Previous nuclear industry experience
🛠️ BIM LOD 100-400 deliverables experience
🇬🇧 Sole British Nationals only due to project nature.
🏡 Hybrid work: Home office, ideally Sunderland or Glasgow, but any location commutable to an Assystem office in the UK considered.
🏢 Occasional visits to Client site near Plymouth.
