ROLE PURPOS: 

Looking for Senior Accountant To produce the company’s accounting data (i.e., producing the main accounting inputs required for the financial reporting process)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

• Book, manage and track all day-to-day transactions under QuickBooks (receipts, deposits, purchase, invoices, refunds, payments, the payroll entries, and all the other standard bookkeeping tasks),
• Track and manage accounts receivable and payable aging.
• Prepare all the payments, posting cash, bank reconciliation and any other ad-hoc bank reporting required such as KYC, FATCA & etc, Regular cash-flow and petty cash reporting,
• Prepare and book the various journal entries for the month-end closure: accruals, prepayments, etc.
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and perform accounting tasks as required for the job.
• Monitor the cash balance to ensure adequate cash availability.
• Prepare VAT filing.
• Handle year-end external auditor and provide all the supporting documents needed.
• Be a team player & support the team when needed
• Collaborate with the Chief accountant and the finance controller on an ongoing basis.
• Track and manage the accounts receivable and payable aging,
• Prepare the Group Inter-company reconciliation matrix in a timely manner.
• Comply with all the internal processes implemented and assist in developing best practices on an ongoing basis,
• Might be requested to assist the CFO in all which is Forecasting and Budgeting activities.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

• The regular accounting reports on a timely manner,
• The regular tax returns on a timely manner,
• Accuracy, exhaustivity and completeness of the accounting information produced.

Qualifications:

  BSc degree in accounting or equivalent,

Years of Experience/ Sector:

5-7 years of experience in the same field

Job-Specific Skills:

highly analytical, detail-oriented with a strong accounting knowledge.

Generic Skills:

Effective communication skills (written and verbal).

fluent in English

advanced excel knowledge, QuickBooks experience.

 **Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
