In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.

Specializing in ESIA studies, site investigations, and laboratory research, the company offers vital site supervision owners and lenders engineering services. Notably, Assystem Türkiye plays a pivotal role in major projects like power generation, and the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to oversee and manage bidding processes for environmental projects within our Business Development department. This role focuses on technical proposal preparation, international collaboration, and delivering high-quality solutions tailored to client needs. The position requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and active participation in international meetings.
 

  • Analyze customer RFPs, clarify requirements, and develop tailored technical solutions.
  • Prepare and manage high-quality technical proposals, including bid documents (e.g., references, CVs, forms), in collaboration with internal and global technical teams.
  • Identify and coordinate with subcontractors to meet RFP requirements.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and actively participate in meetings to support proposal development and approvals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to foster future business opportunities.
  • Track client feedback and apply lessons learned to improve proposals and processes.

My profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Ecology (MSc. preferred).
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level), including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the environmental sector, preferably with international consultancy exposure.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and knowledge of international standards such as IFC, EBRD, and Equator Principles.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and proposals effectively.
  • Team player with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to address customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10%) and actively participate in meetings.
  • Familiarity with GIS software and environmental assessment tools; experience is an asset.
  • Experience with ESIA processes and compliance reporting would be considered a valuable asset.
  • Background in sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Project is an advantage.
