Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to provide comprehensive commercial and financial support within a project environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are financially and operationally successful.

Key responsibilities:
⚡️ Manage the order book, including creation, maintenance, and acceptance of task orders.
⚡️ Monitor expenditures, track costs, and ensure adherence to budgets.
⚡️ Reconcile hours and expenses to enable accurate monthly invoicing.
⚡️ Maintain and update cashflow processes, including aged debt to targets.
⚡️ Support project delivery by ensuring all resources have correct booking codes.
⚡️ Highlight issues and risks to the NNB Project Controls Manager.

    This role is based in Aztec West in Bristol, working on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office). 

    My profile

    🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications:

    • 🛠 Minimum education standard of 5 GCSEs grades A-C, including English and Maths.
    • 🛠 Proven experience in project support or administration.
    • 🛠 Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
    • 🛠 Strong numerical skills in managing tasks and budgets.
    • 🛠 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
    • 🛠 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused mindset.

     

    ✔️ Desired Skills:

    • ✔️ Educated to degree level in finance, accounting, business administration, or a STEM field.
    • ✔️ Hold or be pursuing project controls/project management qualifications (e.g. EVM, PMQ).
    • ✔️ Experience on NEC3 projects or in nuclear engineering consultancy.
    • ✔️ Familiarity with project controls software or platforms.
    • ✔️ Commercial awareness, including cost control and change management.
    • ✔️ Knowledge of CEMAR or similar systems.
