Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This role supports process design and integration for fluid systems in a major nuclear programme.
You’ll ensure process documentation and calculations meet strict safety and performance requirements.
Your future team works across mechanical, I&C, and safety disciplines to deliver compliant, optimised system designs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain system documentation for fluid process systems
- Perform thermal-hydraulic calculations using both in-house and commercial tools
- Analyse and integrate input data and requirements from multiple disciplines
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational constraints
- Engage with stakeholders including civil, layout, I&C and procurement teams
- Support development of technical specifications for procurement
- Review and contribute to system modifications and engineering change processes
- Participate in experience-sharing and process improvement initiatives
My profile
🛠 Essential Skills
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or Mechanical with fluid systems focus)
- 3–5 years’ experience in fluid systems design or process engineering
- Skilled in thermal-hydraulic modelling and system performance analysis
- Understanding of safety, environmental, and operational constraints
- Ability to manage technical documentation and system design records
- Confident working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools
✔️ Desired Skills
- Familiarity with nuclear system process design and classification
- Experience working on regulated infrastructure or industrial sites
- Knowledge of P&IDs and process documentation tools
- Exposure to I&C integration within process systems
