Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are hiring a dynamic, self-motivated Planner to join our London office!

Job Title: Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🛠️ Lead project time evaluation and align cost & risk assessments
  • 🗂️ Assist in developing programme structure, WBS, CBS & calendars
  • 📅 Create cost/resource-loaded programmes to meet delivery milestones
  • 🚧 Ensure compliance with all access dates, milestones, and key requirements
  • ⚠️ Assess and mitigate programme risks with effective solutions
  • 🔄 Regularly update the programme and suggest problem resolutions
  • 🤝 Collaborate with Project Controls, Reporting, and Change Management teams
  • 📢 Communicate construction planning to stakeholders and share best practices
  • 🔍 Review supply chain programmes and align with the main programme
  • 🗓️ Maintain short/medium-term programmes to meet objectives
  • 🔄 Support “what-if” scenario planning for project conflicts and recoveries
  • 👥 Lead Planners in setting goals and managing team performance
  • 📈 Capture and implement best planning practices for continuous improvement

Business Development:

  • 💡 Identify opportunities to expand Assystem’s network and services
  • 🌐 Attend and participate in networking & knowledge-sharing events
  • 🔍 Conduct market research to assist sector leads
  • 📊 Run Project Controls Maturity Assessments

My profile

Must-Haves:

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree
  • 🏗️ Experience in major infrastructure & construction projects
  • 🖥️ Strong knowledge of MS Excel & Primavera P6
  • 📊 Understanding of EVM & project reporting
  • 🗣️ Excellent communication skills
  • ⏳ Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • 🏢 Consultancy experience
  • 📊 Experience with dashboards (Power BI / Tableau)
  • 📜 Professional Membership

**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to be clearable to DV Level (Developed Vetting) minimum without any caveats to that clearance.
