Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission
This role is embedded within a major UK nuclear plant project.
You will work closely with stakeholders across engineering and project management teams.
Your mission is to own and manage complex technical interfaces with precision and foresight.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse, identify and control critical technical interfaces across responsible engineering entities
  • Facilitate efficient bilateral technical exchanges between project stakeholders
  • Manage interface milestones and align activities with INS-305 timelines
  • Oversee technical interface tool utilisation and support continuous improvements
  • Plan, lead, and contribute to Strategic and Operational Interface Committees
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track interface process performance
  • Collaborate on defining and improving the supplier interface management process
  • Drive implementation of Systems Engineering principles into interface coordination

 

My profile

🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Nuclear, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in nuclear engineering, project or technical leadership
  • Strong understanding of EPR design and engineering processes
  • Solid knowledge of UK nuclear laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Background in interface, delivery, or technical coordination roles
  • Project and delivery management experience
  • Familiarity with interface tools and systems engineering principles
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments

✔️ Desired Skills

  • Experience in transverse technical coordination
  • Prior involvement in Systems Engineering processes
  • Familiarity with complex engineering projects and matrix teams
