Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission:
As a Configuration Engineer, you will take the lead in managing the Mechanical scope of the MEH (Mechanical, Electrical, Heat, and Ventilation) systems within the HPC project. Your focus will be ensuring configurations are precisely tracked, controlled, and compliant with project safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
⚡️ Manage the configuration of mechanical systems and ensure alignment with the Configuration Control Process.
⚡️ Maintain version control of mechanical designs and ensure compliance with EDF standards.
⚡️ Work with design and installation teams to ensure mechanical systems integrate smoothly and meet specifications.
⚡️ Oversee validation and verification of mechanical installations to ensure regulatory compliance.
⚡️ Collaborate with quality and construction teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical configuration issues.
⚡️ Prepare mechanical configuration reports and documentation for regulatory reviews.
⚡️ Monitor design package maturity and report progress to the Engineering Manager.
⚡️ Continuously improve mechanical configuration management tools and ensure data quality.

My profile

Essential Skills:
🛠 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
🛠 Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in mechanical configuration management.
🛠 Familiarity with configuration management and version control systems.
🛠 Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the nuclear or energy sectors.
🛠 Expertise in mechanical design, installation, and troubleshooting within complex systems.
🛠 Ability to deliver mechanical engineering solutions safely, on time, and within budget.

✔️ Desired Skills:
✔️ Knowledge of contractual and commercial mechanisms related to mechanical systems.
✔️ Experience working autonomously while managing configuration complexities.
✔️ Meticulous and methodical approach to mechanical engineering tasks.
