Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission

As Mechanical Equipment Engineering Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical equipment packages from external suppliers. You’ll collaborate with clients, technical experts, and contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical excellence.

⚡️ Support the development and agreement of new contract packages for power station equipment.
⚡️ Author technical specifications and delivery documents, coordinating technical inputs.
⚡️ Engage with contractors to ensure understanding of project requirements.
⚡️ Review contractor tender documents for technical compliance and clarity.
⚡️ Lead technical and project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
⚡️ Collaborate with internal and client teams for seamless integration of equipment.
⚡️ Communicate progress, risks, and issues to RD and client management teams.
⚡️ Ensure awareness and compliance with commercial contract structures

My profile

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

🛠 Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
🛠 Knowledge of mechanical materials (tanks, pipes, columns, pressure vessels, and valves).
🛠 Proficiency in IT applications (MS Suite, CAD).
🛠 Experience in leadership, managing teams, budgets, and suppliers.
🛠 Strong project management skills.
🛠 Familiarity with commercial contract structures and supplier management.
🛠 Experience producing technical specifications.

Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience in the nuclear sector.
✔️ Experience with NEC/FIDIC contract management.
✔️ Stakeholder management and collaboration expertise.
