🚀 The Job Mission
We are looking for a  Mechanical Engineer – Reactor Systems to contribute to the Hinkley Point C project. You will be reporting operationally to the Engineering Lead, and this role will involve:
⚡️ Reviewing and accepting engineering queries raised by the site Contractor within the Nuclear Steam Supply Systems (NSSS) scope.
⚡️ Responding to General Queries, Non-Conformances, Change Requests, and Exemption Requests.
⚡️ Providing oversight to ensure Nuclear Safety requirements are met.
⚡️ Contributing to the resolution and closure of Open Points.
⚡️ Assessing technical risk and addressing it effectively.

Essential Skills:
🛠 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
🛠 Proven experience in UK or EU regulations is absolutely essential.
🛠 Experience as a Mechanical Engineer within heavy industrial projects.
🛠 Familiarity with steam supply or reactor systems, including design, operation, and maintenance, transferable from other industries.

Desired Skills:
✔️ Understanding of Nuclear Safety requirements and risk assessment.
✔️ Professional Engineering (PE) license.
✔️ Certification or training in nuclear safety and regulations.
