🚀 Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! 🚀Design advanced thermal and fluid systems for a cutting-edge Fusion and Modular project! Embrace innovation and provide critical analysis and calculations for Cooling Water Island Systems. Be part of an excellence hub and lead flow and thermal analyses to showcase system performance.

Your Mission:

🔩 System Design & Integration: Collaborate on the design and seamless integration of systems.
📄 Documentation Mastery: Produce, review, and update system documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy.
🧠 Control Philosophy Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis to define the control philosophy for the system.
📏 Component Sizing: Execute precise sizing of components for optimal performance.
🔥 Thermal-Hydraulic Calculations: Conduct detailed thermal-hydraulic calculations and modeling.
🛠️ Equipment Specifications: Formulate detailed equipment specifications to meet project requirements.

🌟 Required Experience:

Essential –

🎓 Process/Chemical Engineering Degree: Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Process or Chemical Engineering.
🌊 Fluid Mechanics Mastery: Demonstrated understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
📄 Design Documentation Pro: Experience in producing design documentation and test specifications.
💻 CFD Software Expert: Proficient in using PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D CFD software.

Additional Information:

📜 Standards Savvy: Experienced with European and Offshore standards (e.g., Eurocode 3 and DNV).
🎓 Advanced Qualifications: Master-level qualifications are preferable.
🛠️ CAD Expertise: Skilled in checking and approving engineering CAD assemblies and detailed drawings.
📋 Documentation Checker: Proficient in checking and approving engineering documentation, including manual calculations and reports.
📐 FEA Skills: Excellent Finite Element Analysis skills; knowledge of ANSYS Workbench is highly desirable.
🔄 Non-Linear & Fatigue FEA: Experienced in the production, checking, and approval of non-linear and fatigue FEA using DNV and Eurocodes.
