Job Description

Your future team:

You will join our teams out in France based at the joint facility EPURE.  You will provide commissioning design support on a programme of works called Teutates IVA (Induction Voltage Adder). This is ensuring all engineering specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria are met in compliance with Quality Management Systems and Project Delivery processes of the programme. 

 There are commissioning teams working on a rota of 3 weeks on (located in France) and 1 week off. Outside IR35 Contract

Your Missions:

🔧 Deliver mechanical design information during the commissioning stage.

📋 Ensure all standards, procedures, drawings, and work instructions are ready for commissioning.

⚠️ Maintain high standards in safety, security, and quality.

⏰ Work within a shift pattern coverage team.

📝 Prepare commissioning documents and consolidate work packs.

✏️ Manage and conduct “red line mark ups” and “black line” updates to as-built design intent.

🛠️ Manage snag listings and support close-out activities.

📊 Ensure accurate test result records on the project management system.

📋Design Engineering support involving in  Site decision making e.g. if a Concession, TQ, TCA or CR is required.

📊 Validation of information and retained within the CC3000 packs and LTR packs.

Profile:

Your strengths and prerequisites for success

🛡️ Experience in mechanical systems commissioning (gas, fluid, vacuum, mechanical handling).
🔧 Hands-on commissioning, defect repair, and maintenance experience.
🌍 Experience in factory acceptance testing with UK and international suppliers.
🏗️ Understanding of Design Engineering, Construction, and Handover processes.
🗂️ Organized with a methodical approach to document control.
🩺 Strong Health and Safety knowledge.
💬 Good communication skills; basic French desirable.
👥 People and process management skills.
📑 Knowledge of HSWA, CDM, risk assessments, Safety Functional Requirements, and Safety Justifications.
🔍 Practical commissioning experience.

 

 

 

Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance, and ideally DV. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national, 

Location: Valduc, France 3 weeks (onsite), 1 week leave.

Hours: Up to 50 hours per week
