The Job Mission

🚀 As the Piping Construction Delivery Lead Engineer, you will manage and support a team of Construction Delivery Managers. You will oversee site activities, ensuring safety and efficiency in the construction of piping installation works. Your role involves proactive coordination and communication with various site functions.

⚡️Provide support to Construction Delivery Managers to mitigate safety and quality concerns.

⚡️Drive site works and ensure contractor performance aligns with the agreed programme.

⚡️Communicate with site functions to maintain good communication links and timely reporting.

⚡️Organise and conduct PLOD/PLOW meetings with contractors.

⚡️Undertake safety and assurance inspections supporting project HSPI’s.

⚡️Ensure clear communication with the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.

⚡️Support contract PMs in responding to contractual correspondence.

Essential Skills

🛠 Substantial experience in piping installation for LArge Scale industrial projects.

🛠 Ability to manage a high-performing team.

🛠 Experience in construction sequencing, recovery plans, and resource allocation.

🛠 Knowledge of CDM Regulations.

🛠 Working knowledge in delivering large projects.

🛠 Strong report writing skills.

🛠 Excellent organisational and communication skills.

🛠 Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Construction management, or equivalent experience.

🛠 Ability to collaborate with senior managers and manage site operations effectively.

🛠 Results-focused mindset, taking personal responsibility for delivering excellence.

Desired Skills

✔️ Experience in high security environments.

✔️ Experience within the Nuclear environment or Power Generation Construction.
