Job Description

Junior Project Manager – Derby

Your future team:

Working within the Defence Infrastructure Project Management Team and closely with the recruitment and operations departments, the role is to manage and maintain the Engineering Temporary Labour (ETL) arm of the Defence organisation in Derby.

This is a pivotal role that will assure that AEIL provides a continuous level of support to the contractors working on our clients sites.

Your Missions:

📈 Maintain accounts in Hive (CRM)

📝 Update reports and create purchase orders

🤝 Stakeholder management (internal & external)

🔄 Respond to resource needs and manage project statuses

💼 Handle contractor timesheets and project governance

📧 Oversee project  mailbox integrity

📅 Ensure timely weekly transactions

🗂 Maintain accuracy in Coupa updates

Skills & behaviours:

📊 Project management/engineering experience preferred along with Past experience of managing elements of project cost capture/reporting

🏭 Experience of working in the Nuclear/Defence Industry is an advantage but not essential

💻 Proficient in MS Office

🔍 Detail-oriented and self-motivated

👍 Strong communication and flexible attitude

🎯 High customer service focus

Qualifications:

📜 APM, Prince 2, or other PM qualifications beneficial

 

SC desirable but not essential to start

Sole UK National

Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national
