Finding solutions to climate change is the priority of the 21st century, and means switching to low-carbon energy. At Assystem, our mission is to accelerate the energy transition worldwide. To achieve this, our 7,500 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.


In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.


Job Description

As an IT apprentice, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the IT department while developing technical and interpersonal skills. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and providing support to staff.
  • Responding to logged IT incidents, including software troubleshooting 0and assisting with a range of software applications.
  • Help organizing the deployment and return of  IT equipment for users at offices across the country.  
  • Actively learning about the latest technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

My profile

  • Minimum of five GCSEs (grades A*-C/9-4), including English and Maths or equivalent skills through Functional Skills qualifications 
  • Good knowledge of popular operating systems
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Collaborative and team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • User focus
  • Well-organized
  • A genuine interest in technology, problem-solving, and learning about IT systems.
