Job Description

 

🚀 Your Mission
We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of Emergency and Ultimate Diesel Generators (EDG/UDG) for nuclear power plants. This role involves managing technical aspects of high-value equipment supply contracts.

Your future team’s key responsibilities:

  • Assess design proposals and manage system-building interfaces.
  • Support Invitation-To-Tender (ITT) and tender evaluations.
  • Organise and document supplier interactions.
  • Oversee technical configurations and update specifications.
  • Conduct impact analyses for design changes.
  • Support contract execution and approve contractor deliverables.
  • Resolve technical issues and manage Design Changes (UKDC).
  • Ensure integration of equipment with interfacing systems.

🛠 Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG/UDG) or similar nuclear equipment.
  • Ability to produce technical specifications.
  • Experience in supplier management and oversight.

✔️ Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of nuclear design processes, safety standards, and seismic qualification.
  • Experience with equipment supply contracts (e.g., NEC/FIDIC).
