Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission
As an Engineering Systems Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the Hinkley Point C project, ensuring the smooth integration and management of engineering systems and processes. Based in Bridgwater, this hybrid role combines site-based and remote work, subject to project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for engineering systems within your assigned area.
  • Develop and enforce configuration management processes and standards.
  • Coordinate technical documentation updates and ensure compliance across teams.
  • Conduct supply chain audits to maintain configuration assurance.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering teams and design entities.
  • Monitor and drive the resolution of design changes, technical issues, and interface agreements.
  • Play an active role in managing redline reviews and technical updates.
  • Oversee end-to-end system configuration activities to maintain project alignment.

My profile

🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience managing engineering systems or configuration processes.
  • Proficiency in handling technical documentation and maintaining complex databases.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering standards in large-scale construction or plant environments.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office tools and engineering software.

✔️ Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with nuclear design or similar technical standards.
  • Background in quality management and conducting technical audits.
  • Experience in coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of plant construction processes and technical compliance.
