Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This is a pivotal role in the heart of the UK’s leading nuclear new-build programme.
You’ll lead the operational delivery of a project-wide initiative to accelerate decision-making.
Your mission is to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of technical decisions.
Your future team’s mission will include:
- Leading weekly ‘drum-beat’ meetings to identify, prioritise, and track critical design decisions
- Driving the Lead Time Challenge initiative across engineering teams and delivery partners
- Engaging with delivery leads to unblock issues, identify risks, and escalate where needed
- Preparing detailed reports on progress, delays, and KPIs for multiple governance levels
- Coordinating performance reporting across contracts, engineering steps, and supplier interfaces
- Ensuring consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing a shared admin resource responsible for dashboards and performance data
- Representing operational delivery performance in monthly and quarterly steering committees
My profile
🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ engineering discipline experience
- Strong understanding of UK nuclear design and processes
- Skilled in project and delivery management
- Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Organised, analytical and detail-focused
- Able to drive high standards of safety and quality

- Understanding of project management principles
- Experience in cross-functional technical coordination
- Proficiency in performance reporting tools
