Within the framework of a contract in force with AKKUYU NÜKLEER (from the Russian Group ROSATOM), AEOS is in charge of the quality inspection of the construction and installation works related to the structures, systems and components important for nuclear safety of the 1st Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) of Turkey, of which construction is ongoing at Akkuyu site in the province of Mersin until 2028
Job Description
Electrical inspector is in charge of performing predefined checks regarding the conformity of electrical systems and equipment of the NPP buildings. These checks will concern mainly grounding during the construction phase, then low-voltage equipment (cabinets, auxiliary electrical systems, distribution) and very low-voltage equipment (e.g. sensors, etc.) during the installation phase.
Responsibilities
- Ensure electrical works comply with regulatory and technical requirements according to Turkish law 30024 on the inspection of nuclear power plants.
- Maintain records of inspections, defaults, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Verify that defaults, deviations, or non-conformities are properly corrected.
- Perform inspection activities safely and in compliance with all regulations and standards.
Duties
- Familiarize yourself with Akkuyu NPP Project norms, standards, specifications, and procedures related to electrical systems and equipment installation.
- Review and comment on technical drawings and quality plans.
- Identify checks to be conducted per Turkish Regulation 30024 requirements.
- Conduct inspections to verify compliance with execution documentation and applicable standards.
- Perform quality inspections related to earthing/lightning grids of buildings and inspect incoming electrical equipment for conformity and preservation.
- Elaborate Work Inspection Reports to record inspection results.
- Describe and record defaults or deviations, assess them, and write non-conformity notifications. Monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Respect AEOS NCIO Quality Assurance processes and HSE requirements.
- Contribute to the AEOS NCIO Project Monthly Report by providing inspection activity information.
- Attend internal or external technical meetings as requested.

Languages: Proficient in Turkish and able to communicate in English (Russian is a plus).
Education: Graduate diploma in electrical or electronic field (High school + 4 years).
Experience: 3 years in inspection or quality assurance/control in electrical works, minimum 5 years professional experience in electrical works in construction, maintenance, or industrial projects, experience in a Russian construction project is a plus
Specific Requirements: Mandatory driving license, completed military service, flexibility in working hours due to construction site necessity.
