Job Description

The Area Integration Engineer will be pivotal in crafting and overseeing the construction sequences of various project components, ensuring these align perfectly from manufacturing through to commissioning. This role is a blend of technical precision and strategic foresight, key for driving project success. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Construction Sequence Development: Develop and integrate construction sequences from manufacturing to commissioning, aligning with project milestones.

  • Technical Proficiency: Use 3D/4D tools like Navisworks or Synchro, and manage schedules and data with P6, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

  • Resource and Schedule Management: Ensure material and equipment availability, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support decision-making for project success.

  • Procedural Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to ‘Delivery Work Pack’ and ‘Interface Data Sheet’ procedures across project phases.

  • Data Management: Manage project data effectively using databases and PowerBI, ensuring accuracy for decision-making.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to address project-wide issues, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

My profile

Essential

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent in Construction Management
  • 5 years experience in delivering complex projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of planning tools (P6), 3D model interrogation (Navisworks) and use of Microsoft Office software suite packages particularly Excel and Power point.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desirable

  • Construction health and Safety qualification eg. IOSHH Managing Safely.
  • Nuclear construction background.
  • Experience operating in a highly regulated, high security environment
