Job Description
The Design Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the design process for bridge structures within construction projects.
This position involves leading a team of structural engineers & drafting technicians, ensuring the successful completion of design tasks, and maintaining quality standards.
Preparing and checking of estimates and specifications of Various structural components.
Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, procurement team and other stakeholders to meet project requirements, adhere to timelines, and achieve project goals.
My profile
- Master in Structure Engineer
- Proven experience (12 years) in bridge structure design, with a focus on managing design projects and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards related to bridge design.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as Midas, Staad, etc.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working on transportation or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
