Job Description

As a Data Steward embedded in a technical team which is in charge of performing control of the quality of the manufacturing of mechanical parts for the UK nuclear projects by achieving in-shop inspections and issuing engineering technical positions:

• to support the users of the PLM tools by identifying the data necessary for their activities, ensuring the initialisation of the data, and acting as an interface between the users and the developers,

• to define and perform the relevant checks and to take the appropriate measures to ensure the good use of the tools by the technical team, with a proper quality of data (and if possible, to propose mitigation or corrective actions),

• to provide a team performance review based on the data related to the team activities.

My profile

  • Mechanical engineering degree / master of science in the metallurgy/mechanical/engineering field
  • Knowledge and previous experience in PLM tools, data management and information systems
  • Previous experience in industry or technical field where PLM was used • Competencies in programming and dashboarding
  • A good self-organization of work and the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage the interactions with a multi-disciplinary team and capable of communicating appropriately with tools users (in a simple way) and to support them.
  • Capacity to cope in a technical environment with multiple and urgent demands
  • Knowledge in Excel/VBA/PowerBI is a must
  • Knowledge in Dassault 3Dx PLM tool is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English

Security clearance:

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Working locations will be hybrid working with occasional travel to France
