Job Description

Cost Engineer Opportunity – Major Defence Infrastructure Projects 🏗️

Are you a skilled Cost Engineer looking for an exciting challenge? Join our team and play a key role in delivering major defence infrastructure projects! 🛠️💼

🔍 Role Overview

📌 Key Responsibilities:

  • 📊 Estimating & Cost Analysis – Define scope, develop schedules, and benchmark costs.

  • 💰 Cost Control & Reporting – Support forecasting, variance reporting, and EAC management.

  • 🤝 Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with key project teams to ensure financial transparency.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Cost engineering experience in infrastructure or defence. ✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ✔️ Excellent communication and financial reporting abilities.

Project Interfaces:

👥 Key Stakeholders: Client Cost Manager, Client Project Managers, Accounts, JV Project Manager & Project Controls Manager.

  • 🔍 Lead cost reporting & forecasting in line with project schedules.

  • 📉 Drive the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, ensuring stakeholder alignment.

  • 🔄 Oversee change impact for budget control & financial planning.

🎓 Qualification, Special Skills or Experience:

✅ Previous experience or a sound understanding of the following is highly advantageous:
