Job Description

Joining a team of project management experts, you will work on a portfolio of projects, focusing on cost estimation missions. These projects will primarily involve Nuclear

Using technical documentation and/or pre-consultations, you will assess project costs and, occasionally, timelines. You will prepare estimation reports using diverse methodologies, including global (analogy-based), modular (factor-based), semi-detailed (equipment and environment-focused), or detailed (based on quantities and measurements).

  • Data Analysis and Organisation:

    • Inventory and analyse input data.
    • Define the structure of information and optimise programmes to achieve cost reductions.
  • Cost Estimation:

    • Perform cost estimations for various project components, including civil works, mechanical equipment, ventilation, and electrical systems.
    • Utilise estimation methods appropriate to the project’s complexity and level of detail.
    • Identify and quantify uncertainties and associated risks.
  • Management and Coordination:

    • Lead and facilitate cost estimation initiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Reporting and Critical Analysis:

    • Draft comprehensive synthesis reports and present findings to project teams and stakeholders.
    • Provide expert assessments, critical analyses, and justifications for cost estimations.

Educational Background:

  • You hold an Engineering degree and have a strong academic foundation relevant to industrial project estimation and energy sector applications.

Professional Experience:

  • You have 5 to 10 years of proven experience in cost estimation on large-scale industrial projects, particularly in the energy sector.
  • You are proficient in employing various estimation methods and possess expertise in statistical approaches.
  • You have the ability to design and implement estimation tools tailored to project needs.

Technical Competencies:

  • Mastery of cost estimation methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with tools and software used in industrial project estimation.
  • Capability to create customised estimation frameworks to support decision-making processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Methodological Rigor: Demonstrated attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Analytical and Synthetic Thinking: Ability to analyse complex data and summarise findings effectively.
  • Client-Oriented Approach: Strong listening skills and the ability to guide clients in making informed decisions.
  • Exceptional Writing Skills: Proven ability to produce clear and comprehensive reports.
