Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission: Cost Estimation Expert

As a Cost Estimation Expert, you will contribute to a portfolio of complex nuclear projects by providing high-quality cost estimation services. Working closely with technical documentation and stakeholders, you will apply various estimation methodologies and leverage your expertise to deliver critical insights into project costs, timelines, and associated risks.

Key Responsibilities:

⚡️ Data Analysis and Organisation:

  • Analyse input data and project documentation.
  • Define and optimise the structure of information to drive cost reductions.

⚡️ Cost Estimation:

  • Perform detailed cost estimations across civil works, mechanical equipment, ventilation, and electrical systems.
  • Apply diverse estimation methods, from global (analogy-based) to detailed (quantities and measurements).
  • Quantify uncertainties and associated risks for decision-making.

⚡️ Management and Coordination:

  • Lead cost estimation initiatives and align stakeholders on project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clarity and alignment of objectives.

⚡️ Reporting and Critical Analysis:

  • Prepare comprehensive estimation reports and deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide critical analysis, justifications, and expert advice on estimation outcomes.

Qualifications:

🛠 Educational Background:

  • Engineering degree with a strong foundation in industrial project estimation, particularly within the energy sector.

🛠 Professional Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in cost estimation for large-scale industrial projects.
  • Expertise in applying various estimation methodologies and statistical approaches.
  • Experience in designing and implementing estimation tools tailored to project needs.

🛠 Technical Competencies:

  • Mastery of cost estimation techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with industrial project estimation tools and software.
  • Ability to develop customised estimation frameworks to support decision-making.

🛠 Soft Skills:

  • Methodological rigor and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking skills.
  • Strong client-oriented mindset with exceptional communication and writing skills.
