Assystem STUP employs 1500 engineers who provide support to clients in the transportation, urban development, decarbonised energy, and industrial and complex buildings markets. With its headquarters in Delhi, Assystem STUP also has a local presence throughout India with 9 offices spread across the country. Assystem STUP’s teams have already been involved in many projects such as the construction of Dassault factories in Nagpur, preliminary studies of future EPR nuclear reactors in India, the development of the road transport networks in Mumbai, and others.
Job Description
- Will be responsible for Pre- and post-award contracting functions, Contract Administration, Contract Management
- Recognizing Procurement needs, develop Procurement Strategies/ Procurement Plan.
- Coordination with stakeholders for Preparation of Bidding documents, Pre-qualification criteria
- Preparation and floating of Bids/ RFPs/RFQs/EOIs.
- Pre-Bid meetings, Reply to Bid queries, Addendum, Corrigendum, amendments etc.
- Bid Submissions, Bid Evaluation, Techno- Commercial Negotiations, Award of Work, Preparation of Contract Document
- Assistance in Mobilization, Bank Guarantees (Advance payments, Performance Security, Retention etc.), Insurances, Professional Indemnity, Establishing Date of commencement
- Guidance on Contractual obligations/ deliverables of the parties
- Interim Payment Certification, Change Management, Liquidated/ Delay Damages, renewal, extensions, expiry, termination Assisting Dispute Boards
- Establishing Contract Close-out Procedures, regularizing change Management
- Project Completion / Closure Reports Contractual Assistance in Final Bill preparation/submission
- Identifying Contractual obligations/ deliverables of the parties ,Follow up on unfilled obligations
- No Due Certificates, Performance Certificates, Discharge Certificates.
My profile
The ideal profile is a strong leader with proven experience in contract’s, strategy close to the field, reactive, with a sense of service and results.
- A Bachelor’s / master’s degree in civil engineering or other related fields is required with Min of 15+ yrs of experience.
- A previous experience in Engineering business is essential such as civil work, power, transportation, energy fields ideally in an international environment.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Analytical thinking and a strong Procurement and Contracts Management, acumen are important criteria for this role.
- collaborating closely with Clients (Govt. and Private Sectors), Design Architects, MEP Consultants, Project Management Consultants, Cost Management Consultants, Suppliers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
- Hands-on experience in international and local contracts based on FIDIC Conditions of Contract, Procurement Guidelines of JICA, World Bank, ADB & CPWD Guidelines.
