Job Description
Your Future Team:
Join our Defence Infrastructure team as a Construction Manager. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in high-stakes construction projects. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📋 Client & Designer Liaison: Ensure compliance with CDM regulations by coordinating with the Client and Principal Designer.
- 🤝 Contractor Coordination: Work with senior site management of external Principal Contractors to oversee and coordinate all project activities.
- 🛠️ Project Meetings & Planning: Conduct regular meetings to align all parties and ensure safe and coordinated project delivery.
- 🔍 Oversight & Audits: Perform audits and inspections to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- 📢 Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders on safety, quality, and project progress.

- NEBOSH
- Degree/ HND in Civil Engineering, Construction
- IOSH
- Water retaining structures
- Nuclear/ regulated environments
- ICE/ CIOB
Umbrella contractor role but Permanent staff option considered
Full time role which requires 5 days on site in Plymouth per week
