Job Description
Activities to be carried out as part of the service:
- Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and client internal guidance, under the authority of a senior CAD Lead
- Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design,
- Maintaining Edvance’s QA procedures in delivering the SW design,
- Working with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models,
- Reporting progress in team meeting
My profile
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Good experience in use of Tekla
- Good experience in working with Eurocode 3
- Good design office experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
- Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings
- Previous experience in SW design is advantageous
- Knows how to deal with the design and layout constraints
