Activities to be carried out as part of the service:

• Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and client internal guidance, under the authority of a senior CAD Lead
• Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design,
• Maintaining Edvance’s QA procedures in delivering the SW design,
• Working with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models,
• Reporting progress in team meeting

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Good experience in use of Tekla
• Good experience in working with Eurocode 3
• Good design office experience
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
• Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings
• Previous experience in SW design is advantageous
• Knows how to deal with the design and layout constraints
