Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission: Business Analyst – Information Management

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, driving the success of complex, large-scale digital projects. Your expertise will ensure the seamless flow of information, aligning business needs with digital tools and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to guide stakeholders and shape impactful solutions within Assystem’s dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

⚡️ Information Requirements Management

  • Work with business stakeholders to define Information Requirements, ensuring critical data is available in the right tools at the right time.
  • Identify systems integration needs, reporting requirements, and areas for data model development to drive business success.

⚡️ Information Flow Analysis

  • Analyse and document information flows, identifying potential issues like data quality risks or information sensitivity challenges.

⚡️ Collaboration and Problem-Solving

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and digital teams, guiding the business through Information Management services.
  • Collaborate with Information Architects and Development Teams to deliver innovative, integrated solutions for complex business challenges.

⚡️ Project and Workload Management

  • Oversee a portfolio of 2–4 projects at a time, ensuring all deliverables are met within deadlines.
  • Support the development of Information Management tools, processes, and guidance materials to enhance organisational understanding.

⚡️ Communication and Reporting

  • Develop and present communication material to build knowledge and promote Information Management practices across the organisation.

 

My profile

🛠 Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, ideally on large-scale digital projects.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into Requirements Catalogues and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder collaboration across multiple disciplines and levels, both internal and external.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), with the ability to create process flows and visual documentation.

🛠 Desirable Skills:

  • Background in Information Management disciplines like Information Architecture, Master Data Management, or Database System Development.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Business, IT, or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Information Flow tools or technologies.
